Information the extension handles
Cookies
To display and manage cookies, the extension accesses their names, values, domains, paths, expiration dates, security attributes and SameSite settings. It may also handle browser cookie-store identifiers and partition information where supported.
Cookie values can contain sensitive authentication or session information. The extension uses cookie data to let you view, search, create, edit, delete, protect, block, import and export cookies.
Website information
The active tab’s URL and domain help the extension identify the relevant cookie store, display cookies for the selected website, apply your changes and name export files. Browsing activity reporting is described separately below.
Information you enter
Cookie imports, edits, search terms and rules you enter or paste into the interface are used to carry out your requested actions.
Settings, rules and counters
Preferences, blocking rules, protected-cookie rules and local action counters are saved in your browser using chrome.storage.local. Rules may contain cookie domains, names, values or other attributes, depending on your choices.
These settings, rules and counters are not transmitted to the developer or third parties as analytics.
How information is used
Cookie data and the information you enter support the extension’s cookie-management features:
- Viewing, searching, creating, editing and deleting cookies.
- Protecting selected cookies and blocking cookies that match your rules.
- Importing cookies and exporting them to a file or the clipboard.
- Saving your preferences and rules locally.
Browsing activity reports are used for analytics as described below. The reported data is not used for personalized advertising.
Usage analytics and browsing activity
The extension sends the following information to a developer-operated analytics service over HTTPS:
- Visited HTTP(S) page URLs.
- A referrer URL, when available.
- A timestamp and a random pseudonymous identifier.
Full URLs may contain information added by a website. The server may also receive normal network details, such as your IP address and user agent.
The extension does not intentionally send page contents, form entries, passwords or precise geolocation for analytics. The data is not used for personalized advertising.
Disabling or uninstalling the extension stops future reports.
Why these permissions are needed
- Cookies and website access (
cookiesand<all_urls>): display and manage cookies for websites you select. - Tabs (
tabs): identify the active page and its cookie store. - Storage (
storageandunlimitedStorage): save preferences, rules and local action counters on your device. - Clipboard write (
clipboardWrite): copy an export when you choose that action. - Context menus (
contextMenus): provide an optional shortcut to the cookie-management interface.
Data retention and deletion
Website cookies remain in your browser according to their expiration settings and actions taken by the website, browser, you or the extension.
Preferences, rules and local counters remain in extension storage until you change them, delete them through the extension where supported, clear them through browser settings or uninstall the extension, subject to your browser’s behavior.
For questions about data retention or deletion, use the contact details below.
Keeping cookie data secure
Cookie data can grant access to online accounts. Share cookie values or export files only with people you trust, store downloaded exports securely and remove them when you no longer need them.
Local browser and extension storage rely on protections provided by Chrome and your operating system. No method of local storage is guaranteed to be completely secure.
Children’s privacy

Chrome Web Store Limited Use
The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Changes to this policy
This policy may change as the extension’s features or data practices evolve, or when required by applicable policies or law. Updates will be published on this page.
